About 25 km south of Ao Nang lie the two beautiful islands of Phi Phi Ley and Phi Phi Don. Here you can find diving for every level of diver, from shallow sheltered bays to wall and drift dives. At two of our favorite dive sites, Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai (two rocky outcrops just south of Phi Phi Ley), a maximum depth of 30 metres can be reached which makes these sites perfect for Advanced Deep dives. Visibility ranges on average from 10-25 meters with weak to moderate currents. Water temperature remains a fairly constant 27-30 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
You will see an amazing array of sea life, beautiful soft corals, staghorn coral gardens, huge sea fans and on the sandy bottom leopard sharks can be found resting. For non-divers the Phi Phi area offers superb snokelling.
