Deeper, Longer, More satisfying diving - Go Advanced In Thailand!
The PADI Adventures in Diving program offers the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. Take 3 Dives to get a PADI Adventure Diver certification, and 5 dives including Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation to become and Advanced Diver.
Why Advanced Open Water Diver?
Once you become an Advanced Diver, you will be able to dive at more challenging and deeper dive sites beyond the level of Basic Open Water Divers. You'll also be more experienced, more professional, feel more comfortable in the water and enjoy diving more because you better understand the skills and environment.
What do I need to start?
To sign up for the PADI Advanced dives, you need to have a basic scuba diver certification from any recognized diver training agency, PADI, SSI, BSAC or many others.
- Minimum age: 15 for certification, or 12 years for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver.
What will I do?
This certification includes five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three of the following:
- Boat Diver
- Multilevel Diver
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Search and Recovery Diver
- Underwater Naturalist
- Underwater Videographer
- Underwater Photographer
- AWARE Fish Identification
- Wreck Dive
How long will it take?
No classroom work, no videos to watch, no exams to take, just complete a short knowledge review before each dive then into the water, so you can become Advanced in just 2 days.
How Much Does It cost?
Not Much! Thailand is still a very cost effective place to learn to dive, with food and accommodation available at knock down prices, and with our two tier pricing plan you can choose wether you want to go for a no frills basic course or pay a little extra for a private instructor and a course tailored to your personal needs.
What will I need?
Everything you need is provided as part of the course – a PADI Advanced Diver Manual, dive slate, and Log Book if needed.
Where can I go from here?
PADI Advanced Open Water Divers at least 15 years of age can enrol in PADI Wreck or Deep Diver Speciality courses and continue on to the PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver course.
PADI Adventure Dives also credit towards corresponding PADI Speciality Diver certifications. Ask at any Aqua Vision Dive Center for more information on the PADI Adventures In Diving program.
