Dive Sites In Krabi, Phi Phi And Southern Thailand
Taking a boat trip South from Ao Nang Beach brings you to some of the most spectacular dive sites in South East Asia. Aqua Visions trips alternate daily between the Phi Phi Islands and the Shark Point Marine Sanctuary, Racha Island, Hin Daeng and Muang and Koh Ha.
Phi Phi Islands
About 25 km south of Ao Nang lie the two beautiful islands of Phi Phi Ley and Phi Phi Don. Here you can find diving for every level of diver, from shallow sheltered bays to wall and drift dives.>more
Hin Daeng
(Red Rock) -
Without doubt one of Thailands best dive sites. Located southwest of the Phi Phi Islands it out of range for the big dive boats, and is visited exclusively from Ao Nang beach by by our Fly bridge Speedboat.>more
Hin Muang
(Purple Rock) -
Totally submerged and located just a few hundred meters north of Hin Daeng. This unique dive site is so completely covered with lush purple soft corals that it actually seems to glow. Hin Muang attracts the most incredible amount of marine life you will find anywhere.>more
Ko Ha Island and Caves
This group of stunning and remote islands is situated about a one and a half hour speedboat trip from Aqua Visions Dive Center in Ao Nang beach. Koh Ha is one of our favourite sites as there are (nearly) always very favourable conditions, and we can spend the surface intervals in a place of incredible natural beauty.>more
Shark Point Marine Sanctuary
Situated midway between the islands of Phuket and Phi Phi and the mainland of Krabi are the three popular dive sites of Shark Point, Anemone Reef and the King Cruiser Wreck all within a one km radius of each other. Aqua Vision dives all three of these sites in one "Super Day".>more
Local Dive Sites
A 45 minute ride by traditional Thai longtail boat takes you to the stunning limestone islands in the Ao Nang bay area. Here diving depths reach 20 meters maximum with visibility around 10-15 meters. Again a huge variety of tropical fish can be seen. It is also possible to experience night and cave dives at these sites.>more
Racha Yai
On the north end of the island are two beautiful little bays famous for their a deep clear water and colorful coral formations. Both of them have almost swimming pool features as they gradually drop to a depth of 15m on to a sandy seabed, providing ample opportunities for both snorkeling and scuba diving. The best diving is off the east coast where the current allows a gentle drift dive along a sloping rocky face that is covered with an amazing array of hard corals and the nutrient rich water draws large schools of tropical fish.>top
